I'm not. I understand you find it disgusting, and I'm largely opposed to bottom surgery as well. I view it the same as lithium- something that should only be prescribed in the most extreme mental health cases, where all else has failed and the patient is well aware of the risks and drawbacks.
And unfortunately, there are patients- even some children- who do need to be on lithium. Despite the fact that it genuinely just might kill them.
