How the Trans Activists Went a Bridge Too Far

The trans phenomenon has captured the public’s attention as few others in recent decades. This includes mine. It first came on my radar six or seven years ago when I stumbled across Blaire White, who is MTF trans, while conducting a search on a topic totally unrelated to transgenderism. For the record, I liked and respected Blaire immediately. If anyone should be the face and voice of this community, it’s her.

Unfortunately, she’s not. Instead, we have the trans activists and so-called “transtrenders” who claim to be trans or non-binary simply to be seen as cool.

The Focus Here is On the Trans Activists

The focus of this post is on the activists who relentlessly push transgenderism on the other +99% of the population. When it comes to people who are convinced that they have genuine gender dysphoria, I am sympathetic and tolerant. The activists are starting to rub many of us the wrong way.

Understanding the Transgender Controversy

I have been trying hard to understand how and why transgenderism’s popularity has exploded in so short a time span. Just five years ago trans people were as rare as albinos. Today they are everywhere—well at least they seem to be if you consume mainstream news and entertainment and listen to the activists. The best estimates we have based on research are that one in 400 people suffer from true gender dysphoria. This estimate rightfully ignores the much larger tag-along “transtrenders” who only act trans to fit in with the cool clique at school.

According to recent data, something like 30% of American kids and teens self-identify as transtrenders. This is why this fad has been rightfully called a “social contagion.”

It must also be noted that resistance to transtrenderism is now also growing at an equal if not faster rate. This has led to the LGBs openly discussing a divorce from the Ts. As an outsider, I think that is long overdue.

The Two Sides to the Controversy

To understand the transgender controversy we must first get inside the other side’s heads and view the matter through their eyes. So let’s begin by summarizing the opposing side’s sticking points to the enthusiastic acceptance of transgenderism. Then we will look at the pro side’s (i.e., activist) counterargument.

• There is no credible long-term research supporting the claim that dealing with problems between the ears with surgery between the thighs will fix anything. Would we treat someone’s cancer with just positive thinking therapy? No, we wouldn’t. The concept simply doesn’t make any sense.

• If someone believes that they hear voices inside their heads telling them to harm themselves, we approach it as a problem to be treated with drugs and therapy, not surgical intervention.

• Tragically some people actually believe that a leg or arm isn’t really theirs and needs to be amputated. When confronted with such a case, we do everything possible to dissuade them from going through with it. Hopefully, most surgeons will refuse to perform such a procedure on moral and ethical grounds—although there are always a few who will do it for the money.

• Sex change advocates gaslight teens into believing that becoming a member of the opposite sex will solve most, if not all, of their problems.

• The trans activists’ answer to almost every teenage problem is a sex change.

• If a girl is perceived as a tomboy, it means she is really a male trapped in the wrong body and the sex transition process must be initiated.

• If a boy likes pink or watches the Fashion Channel it means that he is really a girl trapped in the wrong body and the sex transition process must be initiated.

• Moreover, the research shows that kids who claim to be in the wrong body have usually already been diagnosed with a number of other disorders such as autism.

• The people who push children towards sex change surgery avoid mentioning the downsides to it such as infertility, loss of the ability to have an orgasm, and the often disappointing results, as well as a variety of other complications which often turn the person into a chronic patient for life.

• Activists do their best to gloss over the cold harsh reality that “bottom surgery” is irreversible.

• Activists make the dishonest claim that sex is assigned at birth. Really? Assigned by whom? Is someone flipping a coin? In reality, one’s sex is observed and recorded. No one is born in the “wrong body.” Gender dysphoria is a purely psychological disorder.

• To activists, the “misgendering” of a criminal is a far worse crime than the murder or rape he committed. We see such lunacy with increasing regularity in social media.

• We don’t allow underage children to drive, consume alcohol, stay up late, drop out of school, etc, but if a five-year-old announces that he or she needs a sex change there are a disturbing number of adults who will support transition with little or no hesitation.

• We have now stepped over the line into Theater of the Absurd where women who want to protect their private spaces and sports from male invasion are being called “misogynists” by those very same men. On top of that these women are being physically attacked with increasing frequency. (Do a search on Riley Gaines and the Let Women Speak movement.)

• What better way is there for men to argue for admission to female spaces than by physically attacking real women?

• Activists use the tired old threat that kids denied the wonderfully Orwellian “gender-affirming” surgery will kill themselves. This is another untruth. The reality is that 80% of kids lose interest in changing their sex after a few months. It’s a recent childhood phase created by social media. Most of these confused kids if left alone will grow up to be perfectly fine gays and lesbians with fully functioning bodies. That’s how it’s always been through history up until three or four years ago.

• Never forget that true gender dysphoria is an extremely rare occurrence. The current craze is a social contagion driven by activists and transtrenders.

• We are not allowed to mention the reality that a lot of men who LARP as women are either autogynephiliacs or exhibitionists/voyeurs or all three.

• Finally, there is now an explosion of detransitioners who have come to deeply regret the irreversible mistake they were allowed to make. You can find them everywhere online. Of course, the activists smear them and demand that we ignore their horror stories.

No one cared what you did in your private lives until you started going after our kids.

Then there are the transgender activist’s neverending demands:

• Trans activists demand that both straight men and lesbians date trans women.

• Trans activists demand that straight women date trans men.

• Trans activists demand that gay men date trans men.

• Trans activists demand that everyone include their pronouns in emails.

• Trans activists demand that everyone remember their pronouns even when they are silly made-up ones such as xip/xap, zer/der, ze/zir, etc. (Who but a blue-haired teen has time for this?)

• Trans activists demand that we mangle our language by using the plural they/them when referring to individuals.

• Trans activists demand that we play along with people who claim to be of the opposite sex, but who make absolutely no effort to present themselves as what they claim to be and then throw tantrums when misgendered. (Recall the “It’s ma’am! Call me ‘ma’am!’” incident which might still be found on YouTube.)

• Trans activists demand that males be allowed to participate in women’s and girls’ sports without any thought given to the unfairness created by their physical advantages. (How would we judge the moral compass of a high school senior who exploited a loophole which allowed him to compete against and dominate freshman?)

• Trans activists demand access to women’s and girls’ private spaces such as changing rooms, showers, and bathrooms. Courageous women such as Riley Gaines and the ladies of Let Women Speak who dare to protest are then physically attacked by the men in drag. This violence only wins more support for keeping them out.

• Trans activists demand that all the immutable sex differences between males and females be ignored and that humanity dissolves into an androgynous and confusing blob of non-binary characters reminiscent of the 1990s Saturday Night Live character “Pat.”

• Trans activists demand that we agree to the lie that biological differences are all made up and not reality.

• Trans activists demand that drag queens be given access to young children and then try to deny that the only plausible reason is to enable grooming. No responsible adult would allow Jeffrey Marsh within 100 feet of a child.

• Trans activists demand that their rights supersede everyone else’s therefore biological males must be allowed to compete against biological females who are typically smaller, weaker, and slower. Biological males must have the right to strut about naked in women’s and girls’ changing rooms. Trans males who commit crimes against biological women such as rape must be allowed to serve their time in a female prison and we must respect their pronouns!

• Finally, trans activists demand that we ignore the explosion in de-transitioners and their horror stories.

The Pro Side of the Trans Controversy

As promised, I will now present the counter-argument to all of the above points from the trans activists and transtrenders.

You are a transphobe!

That’s it.

When defending the indefensible, one is naturally going to have a challenge formulating a credible argument.

The Trans Activists’ Neverending Escalation of Demands

There appears to be no limit to the trans activists’ relentless demands. In order to indulge them, the rest of humanity must not only parrot their lies but turn its own world upside. In other words, we must not believe our lying eyes. The 6’3”, 300 lb hulk with the thick hipster beard must be accepted as a woman if he simply makes the claim. We must deny the concrete reality of biological sex. We must believe that anyone can be anything they wish at a moment’s notice and that we must all indulge their delusions. We must allow creepy men such as Jeffrey Marsh to have private access to our kids via his Patreon chatroom. (Patreon, what the hell is wrong with you?) Recently, activists suggested that all children be automatically placed on puberty blockers. This is weapons-grade lunacy.

Saying “I identify as” is the same as saying “I pretend to be.”

I mentioned at the top my respect for Blaire White. When I first saw her I assumed she was a biological woman. After being informed of her past it did not change my acceptance of her in any way. There are many more trans people on YouTube who have my respect because they don’t push anything and indeed speak openly and honestly about the reality of transitioning. The only reason Blaire is widely known is that she stands up to the dangerous trans activists, transtrenders, and groomers.

I may not agree with transitioning as the optimal solution to most people’s problems with gender dysphoria but have been around long enough to understand that we all have our cross to bear. If an adult is determined to do it, then so be it. It’s the children we must protect from unscrupulous and downright evil people who would mutilate them for money.

Sometimes, the best we can hope for in life is to simply be tolerated. Enthusiastic embrace and support will always remain out of reach for some movements.

As someone recently said, we are passing through a Contagion of Cowardice wherein we are too afraid to say “No” to bad ideas. It’s time we all grew up and started saying no to them especially when it concerns children.
