We are now witnessing an explosion in the number of detransitioners as victims begin to realize they made a huge mistake.
Someone recently compared the sex change craze with the lobotomy craze.
An estimated 50,000 lobotomies were performed across the U.S. between 1936 and the late 1950s. At least 3500 of them were done by one man, Walter Jackson Freeman, dubbed the father of the lobotomy. First hailed as brain surgery that cured intractable mental illnesses, the lobotomy was never proven effective, and it’s difficult to know how patients fared (though the fatality rate was around 14 percent).
