It’s Time to Have an Adult Discussion Over Open Borders

I have written about the social and economic problems that result from open borders. The problems which include spikes in crime have a greater impact on women and girls than men because they can make simply walking along a street dangerous. Males are affected as well but to a lesser degree.

We all suffer when millions of fake refugees and unskilled economic opportunists are enticed into entering the country illegally with promises of free everything from food and accommodations to health care (and some cases free flights to the city of their choice).

We are now finally beginning to acknowledge the disastrous impact of these policies across the USA, Britain, Canada, Australia, Ireland, Sweden, Germany, and other Western European nations. All of these countries have gorged on excessive amounts of unvetted, unskilled, unvaxed, and often ungrateful arrivals who typically have little if any interest in adapting to and integrating into their host society.

What drives this insanity across the Anglosphere and Western Europe?

Globalists, politicians, and feminists are the primary drivers. For globalists, open borders are a means to create labor over-suppply so that wages can be pushed down or justify offshoring jobs. For corrupt Far Left politicians it’s a way to quickly build up and secure a loyal voter base. For feminists, it’s intersectionality which is a grotesquely twisted model for understanding how the world works. Their reward is the opportunity to virtue signal about helping the poor so long as they don’t have to live near them.

Keep in mind that the majority of feminists also initially supported the lobbying to allow transwomen into real women’s changing rooms, bathrooms, and sports. Years went by before a small splinter group (i.e., TERFs) began standing up for the rights of women and girls to have their safe spaces and sports.

So it’s encouraging to finally hear women speaking up about the dangers of having millions of unemployed single military-age males loitering about on street corners and other public areas.

Let’s hope this is the start of a wave.
